Babydoll Stroller Redesign

I have just finished the CUTEST toy for H, a stroller for his stuffed animals and babydolls!

I was able to find this stroller at the Goodwill for $3. I got fabric fat quarters and coordinating bias tape and thread from Walmart. The orange spray paint came from Lowes and is Krylon Fusion All-In-One paint and primer in Gloss Popsicle Orange.

I started by removing the fabric seat and took apart all of the seams. Then I used painters tape to cover any part of the stroller that wasn't pink. It only one coat to completely cover the pink plastic pieces. This spray paint also dried quickly.

Trace the shape of the old fabric pieces onto the new fabric and then sew them together following the old sew pattern.

I used velcro for the seatbelt instead of the original buckle so that it can accommodate all of the different sized stuffed animals and baby dolls he has.

Now onto the next project, baby doll bunk beds!
