I am quick to forget things, especially since H was born. I thought baby brain was an exaggeration but boy was I wrong! Now I have to write everything down, set tons of calendar reminders and label everything, especially my craft storage areas.
I'm currently in the process of reorganizing my craft storage space so that everything is in its own clearly labeled drawer and I will share more about that when that project is complete. For now, I'm sharing how my new mats and fine point blades are labeled.
This is the first time I've had all four different mats and all three fine point blade types and I want to make sure I don't have to replace them again any time soon, so I will only using each one with the proper material. I've written on each plastic cover sheet which materials work best with each mat. The sharpie ink wasn't writing on the plastic covers of the fabric grip and strong grip mats, so I placed clear tape on the plastic cover sheet first and then wrote on the tape. I keep a notecard inside my fine point blade storage tin with each blades materials list and I update each list as I start using more materials.
